Hey all! Today was the first day of Brian's 3rd "vacation" of the summer, plus his doctor gave him the official o.k. this morning to put full weight onto his leg (no more crutches or Dr. appointments!), so we decided to celebrate. :) (Yes, that's correct... Brian is now on a two-week vacation because the plant he works at is closed... This is the longest amount of time off during the summer he's ever had! :))
We headed off to OBI this morning and purchased ourselves a brand new grill... yay! :) (We brought one over here with us when we moved last summer, but unfortunately it doesn't work here... So, we've been without a grill all summer... ugh!). After our exciting purchase, we then headed to the Strandbad (the local beach) and went swimming in the Bodensee... Very fun! Once we returned home, we put our new grill to work, and had our first grilled meal of the summer... woohoo! (I know it's almost the end of summer, but it's better late than never! :))
Overall, I think it was a pretty good start to Brian's two-week vacation. :)
