Last weekend, we headed into Austria to go hiking with some friends. The weather wasn't exceptionally nice (we got caught in a rainstorm hiking up and just missed getting caught in a thunderstorm on the way down!), the roads getting there were slightly treacherous (considering we were driving an A-Class Mercedes on some ridiculously bumpy mountain backroads! :)), and the driving time all but doubled (thanks to the bridge that was out, which resulted in some crazy detours on our way there and back! :))... But, we still managed to have a very fun day of hiking!! Most importantly, the company we were with (combined with some pretty impressive views from the top!) made the whole day worthwhile! :) Thanks, Anna and Trond for inviting us and planning such a fun (and very exciting) day of hiking!! :)
